Other areas of the region protect bird species such as the multi-coloured Impeyan, kokla, blood pheasant amongst a multitude of other birds, butterflies and insects..Day 01 - Arrive Kathmandu Day 03 - Syange/Jagat - Dharapani (1960 m/ 6 hrs) Day 04 - Dharapani - Chame (2630 m /5 hrs) After breakfast walking to Jomsom around 1.30hr. From Jomsom to Tataopani by drive and it takes 04/05 hrs drive. Overnight: Daulagiri Lodge, Trekers Lodge Ora Old Kamala Hotel (B,L,D) Day 14 Tadapani - Gorepani (2874m) About 10 minutes south of Tadapani, the path crosses a bridge over the Kali Gandaki to its left bank and then crosses another bridge over its tributary the Ghar Khola. Just after this bridge turn steeply uphill just to the left of a building. It looks like a path into the owner's back garden. Slog up the hill steeply for 300 metres until you reach the crest of the ridge. The view up the Ghar Khola valley towards Ghorepani is dramatically revealed here. Stop here at the tea house for a rest and to admire the view (50 minutes). Climb less steeply for another 500 metres to Sikha (3 hours 30 minutes). The path is paved most of the way with what appears to be marble. Phalante (4 hours 20 minutes) is mentioned in the origin myth of the Thakali people. The four Thakali ancestors turned back here when they were unable to find their way to the Ghorepani pass. They were probably discouraged by the never ending ascent. Chitre ( 4 hours 50 minutes) is a little further on. Here the path forks. Take the right hand uphill fork by a building. From here it is a 600 metre steady uphill ascent through the endless rhododendron forest past the electricity pylons to Ghorepani. Ghorepani village (6 hours) is in the col of the Ghorepani pass. There is an abundant choice of hotels. There is a police post and ACAP visitors room. The view from Ghorepani and Poon Hill above is one of the best on the circuit. The Himalayan chain between Dhauligiri and Manaslu can be clearly seen on a fine day. Many people ascend Poon Hill in the morning before to get a good view of the mountains. However the view of Machhupuchhare is disappointing in the morning as the sun rises behind it. The view of Dhaulagiri with the rising sun shining on it is magnificent. On a clear evening, the view of Machhupuchhare from here would be magnificent. Day 15 - Gorepani - Tadapani (2,680m) Early wake up and walk up to Poon Hill for one hour to observe the. Sun-rise and a magnificent Mountain View and walk back to Ghorepani for breakfast and start trekking to Tadapani. Overnight: Lodge (B,L,D) Day 16 - Tadapani-Ghandruk (1950M)-Pokhara (by car) Tadapani trek to Ghandruk [1950m] Nayapul and drive to Pokhara From Tadapani the trail descends through beautiful forests to Ghandruk, which is a stunning village of Gurung people, one of Nepal’s most famous ethnic groups, known for their distinctive dialect, culture, costume, and life style. Ghandruk is also home to many soldiers from the famous Gurkha regiments. From here we can have stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Fishtail.We can enjoy a final down hill walk through forest and villages for about 5 hrs to Nayapul. From here we drive for about 1 hour back to Pokhara where our trek ends and we can enjoy a shower and relax on this stunning lakeside town enjoying the memories! Overnight: Hotel Meera (B).. Day 17 - Pokhara Day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Meera (B). Day 18 - Pokhara - Kathmandu After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu & transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Manaslu(B). Day 19 - Kathmandu-Delhi By Flight AI 216 (1550hrs/1710hrs) In time transfer to the airport to board your flight For Delhi. Arrive Delhi & transfer to the hotel. Overnight: Hotel (B). Day 20 - Delhi After Breakfast embark sightseeing of Old Delhi. Here you will drive past the Red Fort - Visit Raj Ghat- The Raj Ghat is one of the most visited ghats. A simple square platform of black marble marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his assassination in 1948. Visit Jama Masjid-Jama Masjid of Delhi is the largest mosque in India. The Jama Masjid stands across the road in front of the Red Fort. Visit Chandni Chowk-one of the main markets of Delhi, Chandni Chowk was once lined with beautiful fountains. But today the place is very crowded and congested. Rickshaw Ride at Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi!!! Later embark on a sightseeing tour of the New Delhi which includes visits to such sights as: Qutab Minar- Qutub Minar is the highest stone tower in India. The construction of the Qutub Minar was started by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1199 and it was finished by his successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish. Humayun's Tomb- After wandering in wilderness for 25 years, Humayun reoccupied Delhi in the year 1555 AD but he was not destined to rule any longer and died barely six months of his arrival, from a fall in his library, Sher Mandal. Lotus Temple-Completed in 1986, the Bahai temple is set amidst pools and gardens, and adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate silently according to their own religion. India Gate- India Gate, situated on the Raj Path in New Delhi, was built to memorialize the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War, Overnight: Hotel (B). Day 21 - Delhi-Agra By Road (204 Km/4-5 hrs) After Breakfast Drive to Agra and transfer to the hotel. On arrival at Agra, check-in at the Hotel. visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb, the monument that is most important in Agra is the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah or "Baby Taj" as it is called sometimes. Evening, witness the magic of the ultimate symbol of Mughal achievement, The Taj Mahal at Sunset Tonga Ride/Tuk Tuk near Taj Mahal!!! .Book This Tour Overnight: Hotel (B). Day 22 - Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur By Road (239Kms/4-5hrs) After Breakfast visit Agra Fort - the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. This was the seat of Mughal rule and administration and the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the wall s and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River. Later proceed to Jaipur en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri (ghost capital) for a tour of these magnificent and world heritage buildings, which are still in a state of perfect preservation. The city is divided into religious and secular sections. The profusion of sculpture is breathtaking. Also, the white marble mosque in the secular section is incredible. It is a very sacred mosque and pilgrims from far and near arrives here to pay their respects. After visit drive continue to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check in into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or free to visit Colorful market of Pink City!!! Overnight: Hotel (B). Day 23 - Jaipur After breakfast, visit Amber Fort, the former capital of the royal Rajputs. Few fail to be moved by the dramatic Rajput grandeur of this hilltop fortress-palace 11-km north of Jaipur. Elephant Ride at Amber Fort!!! Afternoon, visit Jaipur City: Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, a five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was built in 1799 so that veiled royal woman could peer down unseen by the world through its 593 stone screens. We proceed for a guided tour of the City Palace & Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens and the city. Next top the City Palace is the Solar Observatory - an astronomical treasure house, with solar device that gives accurate predictions till date. Overnight: Hotel (B). Day 24 - Jaipur-Delhi By Road (259kms/5-6hrs) Breakfast at the Hotel. Late afternoon, drive back to Delhi .
