Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi, after clearing immigration and customs, step into the receiving area where you will be met and assisted by Grand Travel Planner representative and transferred to the hotel for a Check-in. Delhi a dynamic city where the past and the present coexist, has been ruled by numerous dynasties. The city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Diverse cultural elements absorbed into the daily life of the city have enriched its character. Seven times this city went through the pain of being built, destroyed and rebuilt. It has been witness to many important events in Indian history, and today it stands proud as the capital of India.
Day 02 - Delhi-Corbett National Park

After breakfast, drive to Corbett & transfer to the hotel. Corbett National park is known for its varied wildlife, and as the site for the launching of Project Tiger. Corbett National Park was one of the nine tiger reserves created at the launch of the Project Tiger in 1973. The Main animals found in the national park wildlife found in the Corbett National Park include the tiger, elephant, chital, sambar, nilgai, gharial, King Cobra, muntjac, wild boar, hedgehog, common musk shrew, flying fox, Indian Pangolin, and nearly 600 species of birds. Afternoon, take elephant ride or Jeep Ride into the jungle to view wildlife and also enjoy Jungle. Later visit Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi.

Day 03 - Corbett National Park
After breakfast, leave for Jungle Safari in Dhikala National Park, Corbett. After Lunch, half day free for sightseeing covering Girjia temple and Corbett fall. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 04 - Corbett – Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra & transfer to the hotel

Agra was the capital of India at the time of Moghuls in the 16th and 17th centuries and its superb monuments date from that era. Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, Agra has a magnificent fort and that building, solely for which, many people have been visiting India – the Taj Mahal

Evening, witness the magic of the ultimate symbol of Mughal achievement, The Taj Mahal at Sunset. Day 05 - Agra

After breakfast, visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb, the monument that is most important in Agra is the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah or “Baby Taj” as it is called sometimes. A highly ornate edifice, this mausoleum is considered as the imminent precursor of the Taj Mahal as far as elaborate carvings and inlay work are concerned. Though the structure does not have much to offer architecturally, it makes a clear departure from the earlier

Mughal tombs built during the period and is more softer and with a lot of inlay carvings Afternoon visit Agra Fort – the seat and the stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. This was the seat of Mughal rule and administration and the present structure owes its origins to Akbar who erected the wall s and gates and the first buildings on the eastern banks of Yamuna River. Shah Jehan added the impressive quarters and the mosque while Aurangzeb added the outer ramparts. Visit its Hall of Public Audience and its Royal Pavilions.

Day 06 - Agra-Jhansi-Orchha- Khajuraho By Shatabdi Express

Morning, after breakfast in time transfer to railway station to connect the train for JhansiDepart Agra by Train No.2001 At 0815 Hrs. Arrive Jhansi (Shatabdi Express) At 1040 Hrs. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer from Jhansi to Khajuraho by road (181 kms.), en-route visiting Orchha.

Orchha – Set in a medieval city teeming with Palaces, temples and cenotaphs dating back to the Bundela Dynasty, the former capital of this region is now just a village, but the old fort still stands and contains Bir Singh Deo’s fine palace and another palace built for, but never used by, Emperor Jehangir. The Fort is on an island in the Betwa river.

Day 07 - Khajuraho

Morning, after breakfast, full day tour visiting the western group of temples of which the most important are the Chaunset Yogini temple dedicated to Goddess Kali and the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, 31 meters high, which has a fantastic range of sculptures including sensuous themes. The Chitragupta temple is dedicated to Surya-the sun God. Also visit other important temples like Vshwanath and Nandi Temples, Lakshmana Temple and the Visha Temple, dedicated to Shiva, and the largest and most typical of temples. The world famous temples of Khajuraho are evident of the influence of Vaishnaism, Jainism, and tantrism.

Day 08 - Khajuraho-Bandhavgarh By Road

After breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park, wildlife reserve set amidst the Vindhyan ranges in Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is one of India’s most important Tiger Reserves. The park is made up of rocky hills, lush deciduous forests, marshes and stretches of meadows. It is considered the best place in the world to observe wild tiger and is home to 250 species of birds, including India’s national bird, the peacock. Other residents include various deer and antelope species, jungle cats and Indian wild dog (dhole). Tonight we enjoy an outdoor barbeque dinner cooked over an open flame.

Day 09 - Bandhavgarh

After breakfast, excursion to the park by canter to view the wildlife.

Day 10 - Bandhavgarh-Kanha By Road

Morning drive to Kanha National Park & transfer to the hotel. Kanha national Park is a tiger reserve that extends over 1945 sq. km. of undulating country in Madhya Pradesh. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog.Evening at leisure.

Day 11 - Kanha

After breakfast, excursion to the park by canter to view the wildlife.

Day 12 - Kanha –Nagpur - Delhi

Afternoon, drive to Nagpur airport from where you will catch a flight to Delhi.

Depart for Delhi at 2030hrs by Flight SG 142.

Arrive Delhi at 2210hrs and transfer to the hotel

Day 13 - Delhi

Morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of the New Delhi which includes visits to such sights as:

Qutab Minar- Qutub Minar is the highest stone tower in India. The construction of the Qutub Minar was started by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak in 1199 and it was finished by his successor and son-in-law, Iltutmish.

Humayun’s Tomb- After wandering in wilderness for 25 years, Humayun reoccupied Delhi in the year 1555 AD but he was not destined to rule any longer and died barely six months of his arrival, from a fall in his library, Sher Mandal.

Lotus Temple-Completed in 1986, the Bahai temple is set amidst pools and gardens, and adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate silently according to their own religion.

Laxmi Narayan Temple – This temple was build by G. D. Birla in 1938.

India Gate- India Gate, situated on the Raj Path in New Delhi, was built to memorialize the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War, fighting for the British army.

Later, continue with a drive through Embassy area, the Government buildings (1921-1930.) & visit Old Delhi.

Old Delhi: The City of Shahjahanabad was the capital of Shah Jahan but little remains of that old city. The Old Delhi or the walled city served as the capital for many emperors. Today, remains of the historical city are the gates like – Kashmiri Gate, Ajmeri Gate, Turkman Gate, Delhi gate. Near Delhi Gate is Feroz Shah Kotla, close to this is kept the Ashokan Pillar which was brought from Meerut by Feroz Shah Tughlaq.

Here you will drive past the Red Fort – Built in Red Sand stone this imposing fort is 3 kms in perimeter with the height of the wall varying from 18 to 30 meters at places. When the Red fort was being built Yamuna used to flow on its one sides and there were deep moats on the other. Today Yamuna flows almost a kilometer away from the fort and the moats have dried up.

Visit Raj Ghat- The Raj Ghat is one of the most visited ghats. A simple square platform of black marble marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his assassination in 1948.

Visit Jama Masjid-Jama Masjid of Delhi is the largest mosque in India. The Jama Masjid stands across the road in front of the Red Fort. Built between 1644 and 1658, Jama Masjid is one of the last architectural works of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.

Visit Chandni Chowk-one of the main markets of Delhi, Chandni Chowk was once lined with beautiful fountains. But today the place is very crowded and congested.

Day 14 - Delhi - Departure
Morning at leisure. In Time transfer to the Internationalairport to catch the flight to the onward destination.
